Do you have any Questions

 

What is a seat?

A seat represents one active user "Gigabyte" (driver, dispatcher, etc.) on your platform plan. Each seat includes access to Transit Gigs' tools like in-app training, scheduling, and performance tracking.

Can I rotate different workers through the same seat?

Yes! You can swap out individuals in the same seat over time—only the number of active users at once is limited by your plan.

 

Who hires the workers?

You do. Transit Gigs provides the tools and talent pipeline, but workers are hired, paid, and supervised by your agency or organization.

 

What if a worker leaves mid-month?

If a worker doesn’t meet the 40-hour minimum, you won’t be billed for that seat. We also provide free replacements to ensure your team stays staffed and on track.

 

 

What types of roles can we onboard?

Transit Gigs supports a variety of transit roles including CDL/non-CDL drivers, parking attendants, call center agents, secret riders, and more.

What is Transit University?

Transit University is our built-in training hub. Workers complete app-based certification aligned to your expectations, routes, and policies.

Do you offer customer support or help managing our flex team?

Yes. All plans include light-touch support but consider adding on a Gigs Coordinator to get more hands-on service and coaching.

How long does it take to get started

Most partners go live in 60–90 days, depending on onboarding speed and recruitment volume.




Is this just for big operations?

Nope. We designed this to be scalable for small municipalities, private shuttle operators, and large transit agencies alike.

How do we track worker performance?

You get a live dashboard with shift logs, feedback, and performance stats for each worker—giving you visibility and control without the paperwork.

 

📆 How far in advance do I need to book?

You can post same-day or next-day gigs! Our flexible model is built to support last-minute needs while still ensuring quality service.

🛠️ What if someone doesn’t show up?

Just like Uber or other on-demand platforms, no-shows can occasionally happen. But don’t worry—we’ve got your back. We have real-time support and backup systems in place. If a gigabyte cancels or doesn’t show, we’ll do everything we can to dispatch a replacement quickly or help you reschedule without hassle.
